Why being a Table Captain matters?

The support of Table Captains makes it possible for the Alliance for Education to share its mission and inspire the community with the impactful work the Alliance does to support Seattle students, families, and educators.

 

How do I serve as a Table Captain?

Alliance for Education Table Captains partner with us by hosting a table and inviting guests from their professional/personal communities to join us for our Annual Community Luncheon. This year’s event takes place on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Hyatt Olive 8 in Seattle.

 

Tips for inviting your guests

  • Let them know why you support the Alliance for Education.
  • Direct your invitees to the Alliance website to explain why they should support this fundraiser.
  • Consider who in your circle of friends and colleagues might have the interest and capacity to give.
  • We suggest you invite 12-15 people, as there will be unanticipated cancellations.
  • If all of your guests confirm, we are happy to provide additional seating or a second table.
  • We will provide an email invitation with directions on registration.

What is the cost to attend the luncheon?
Free! The Community Luncheon is a fundraiser for the Alliance for Education however, it is not a ticketed event, nor is there a cost to attend. During the luncheon program, you will be asked to make a gift by filling out a giving card at your table. Guests may write checks or pay online with a credit card. The suggested minimum donation is $150, and your contribution can be pledged over time.

 

Registration Instructions
Please direct your guests to register online and note you as their table captain. Dietary requirements and other needs can also be noted.

To reserve your space your guests will need to register by Friday, September 16 to attend.

 

Please advise your guests to follow the steps below.

  1. Click here for our registration page
  2. Select the Ticket Option on the page. 
  3. Input “1” for Quantity unless you are attending with a spouse or partner.
  4. For your convenience check the green text box below to pre-register your credit card if you would like to make a gift to the Alliance for Education at the luncheon. Amount can be determined at the event.
  5. Fill out the registration information including your meal selection
  6. Select your Table Captain from the list

 *Please note that your credit card will NOT be charged for your registration. It will be used as your reservation, and will only be charged if you provide a gift on October 4th*

 

If you are registering for your guest, please include guest’s complete contact information (address, email, phone). Please do not enter your information on their registration. Registrations with duplicate contact information are unable to be processed.
