Event FAQ'S
What is the Alliance for Education Convening Seattle Community Luncheon?
The Alliance for Education’s annual Convening Seattle Community Luncheon is a cornerstone event that gathers the Seattle community to raise funds and increase awareness of the pressing educational issues facing Seattle students, families, and educators. Each year, this luncheon provides a platform for vital discussions and collective action to support our public schools.
For 2024, the key conversation centers on Collective Impact and Strategic Alignment. This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of creating cross-sector collaborations in public education to improve outcomes for every student.

Where can I park?
The Amazon Meeting Center is accessible by many transit options, but if you are looking for parking, the events team recommends parking in the following locations. Please be advised that Amazon owned and operated parking garages are likely to be filled given the event is during a 9-5 workday for Amazon staff.
The Westin parking garage at 1901 Westlake Ave, Seattle, WA 98121 (Google Maps). This garage has the most open availability and is 1-2 blocks from the Amazon Meeting Center.
Enso Condominium Garage at 820 Blanchard St, Seattle, WA 98121 (Google Maps). This garage is a slightly cheaper and 3-4 blocks away.
For mobility impaired and ADA accessible parking, navigate to the Amazon Doppler parking garage. The garage has two entrances: one on Lenora St. between 6th Ave and 7th Ave and another on 7th between Virginia St. and Lenora St. and is monitored by an attendant (Google Maps). Even if the garage is shown as full, there is a limited amount of parking in each garage for ADA and mobility impaired attendees. Please let the attendant know they are there for an event at Amazon, and they should allow them into the garage. Once parked, take the elevator to level 1, which exits into the courtyard across from the Meeting Center entrance.
What transit routes are nearby?
The venue is near many transit routes including King County Metro buses and 4 blocks from Sound Transit’s Link light rail Westlake station.
What is the best rideshare drop off?
The best rideshare drop-off location for Uber and Lyft is the Amazon Doppler Building (2021 7th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121) with a drop-off location on 7th Ave between Westlake and Lenora. There is a passenger load/unload zone there with a 3-minute time limit at the bottom of the staircase that leads up to the courtyard Meeting Center entrance.
